Quiet week?

Probably not, especially with at least 8 basketball games and 5 tests between today and next Sunday. Oh well. A busy life is a happy life!

In the mind of a child,

The stories we tell are truths,

The monsters are more than just shadows,

Wind and trees whisper tales of things they’ve seen,

Most importantly beauty is everywhere.

In the mind of and adult,

The stories are lies we used to trust,

The monsters are problems in need of solving,

Wind and trees can speak no words,

And beauty is but a distant memory.

Passed day by day,

Overlooked and forgotten.

Until viewed from the proper perspective,

Then the beauty will run wild.
